Haddow had been on the books since 2022 and mainly played for the B Team during his spell at Celtic Park.

The 19-year-old had been set to move on this summertime when his contract officially ended but now it would seem that the player has been released early and will start his new journey at Tynecastle as of today. Haddow had featured in the Lowland League and UEFA Youth League for the club but has been free to find new employment.

Haddow featured 14 times for Celtic’ B Team this season

Haddow featured 14 times for Celtic’ B Team this season and two of those came in the UEFA Youth League. The youngster even managed an assist against Slovan Bratislava in the competition and will be quite a coup for the Gorgie club. He will now work under Angus Beith and play for Hearts’ B side who also participate in the Lowland League and will be more hopeful he can break into the Jambos first team.

After signing a one-and-a-half year deal with the club, his new coach said of his arrival today, as quoted on the Hearts official website: “Aiden is a very exciting young player, who will add further competition to our midfield. Technically, he is excellent, but more importantly he has that hunger and desire to learn and keep improving his game. I’m delighted he’s with us and I’m looking forward to working with him.”

Best of luck to young Aiden.

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.
