Hibernian have confirmed the signing of Hyeokkyu Kwon in a season-long loan from Celtic. The Scottish Champions have allowed the 23-year-old to join the Easter Road side for the new campaign.
In an announcement on Tuesday afternoon, the Edinburgh club confirmed that the South Korean defensive midfielder will link up with David Gray’s side this season.

The 23-year-old joins Hibs from fellow Scottish Premiership side Celtic for the duration of the 2024/25 campaign.

Celtic won 2-0 at Easter Road on Sunday as Gray saw the impressive Champions up front. No doubt the new Hibs manager had a word in Brendan’s ear to try convince him to let Kwon travel across the M8 for a season loan. Kwon will not be available for the game between the sides in the League Cup this weekend.
Kwon impressed while at St Mirren in the second half of last season and Stephen Robinson was keen on bringing him back to the club. Now, Kwon will hope to impress while at Hibs in a midfield that will look to push the Easter Rd outfit towards the Top Six.
Hibee here , havnt seen much of this lad is he any good ? I think hibs should return the favour by giving Celtic the full south stand again but keep the huns on a reduced allocation .
