‘I feel for the Celtic supporters,’ Rodgers

BRENDAN RODGERS again spoke about his dissatisfaction with the performance of his Celtic players after tonight’s 1-1 draw with little FK Suduva in Lithuania in the Europa League Play-off.

And the manager immediately pointed out that the Celtic supporters – there were 2000 there tonight – had gone to great expense and trouble to get themselves over for this match, having lifted their own spirits after the disheartening showing and result in Athens last Tuesday.

Rodgers was not happy with the team’s performance at Firhill and his mood was not lifted much tonight, although he was pleased with young Mikey Johnston’s performance as well as skipper Scott Brown.

Here’s Brendan’s immediate post match interview. Judge his mood for yourself.
