“I Totally Ruined Rangers Single-handedly,” John Hartson’s Twitter Rant

A lot of news in Scottish Football concerns the imminent arrival of Aaron Ramsey. The Welsh midfielder is set to complete a loan move to Ibrox this afternoon, with Juventus picking up the majority of his wage. Social media reacted in a mixed manner, with Chris Sutton writing a strange post and John Hartson seemingly following on from that with strong remarks.

Sutton said he remembered when Rangers thought they had signed John Hartson, and asked “what happened next?”

Unless Sutton knows something we don’t then the meaning behind the post is a little bizarre.

However, with Hartson now dragged into the conversation – he uploaded a tweet of his own in which he claimed that he “ruined Rangers single-handedly.”

Hartson’s concise rant can be seen in the embedded tweet below:

Whether this has anything to do with Ramsey is unclear, but it’s a pair of tweets that have infuriated half of Glasgow.
