‘It’s the business end of the season… wonderful opportunity to re-write the history books,’ Rodgers

HEAR RODGERS discussing the importance of staying focused for the business end of the season in this interview from 29 March 2018. He certainly changed his tune this week. Here’s what he had to say…

“We are moving into a real exciting period for the club, with maybe 9 and hopefully 10 games left, with our league and cup games.

“It’s a real exciting period for us, with the players now back. I can see it in their eyes, it was similar this time last year the we know we are entering into the real business end of the season.

“So we are in a great position in the league and we are in a cup semi-final and have a wonderful opportunity again to re-write the history books. So it’s something that we are very focused on but it’s going to be a real collective.

“The supporters are going to be massive for us over this next couple of months. You know, the support they give us is absolutely incredible. The encouragement that they give us will help drive us on…”
