Jablonec Boss Blasts “Worst Possible Preparation” For Europa League Clash, As He Outlines “Much Stronger” Celtic Fears

FK Jablonec manager Petr Rada has blasted his team after their dismal 3-0 defeat against Mlada Boleslav yesterday afternoon. The Czech club finished third in the league last season, but have started this campaign with three points from two games. They face a wounded animal in Postecoglou’s Celtic next week, but Jablonec boss Rada has blasted his team’s preparation for the Europa League qualification tie.

He told the Daily Record: “I’m very angry with the players. They can’t say they weren’t prepared. I went to watch Mlada Boleslav personally a week ago and they were armed with first-hand information. It was the worst possible preparation for the match against Celtic.”

Despite Celtic losing their last two games and facing a major rebuild, Rada was less optimistic in his outlook. Instead, he revealed that his coaching team feel the Hoops are better than last season, even if results haven’t shown it.

“My assistant manager, Zdenek Klucky, watched Celtic’s games against FC Midtjylland,” Rada said. “He told me they have a much stronger team than last season, even though they also went out of the Champions League last season too.”

In terms of his own team’s chances, Rada stated: “We have to forget about this performance. It’s a different opponent and a different competition, so we have to concentrate on Celtic and give a completely different performance.

“When we play Celtic, we cannot afford to make the same stupid mistakes we made here. There was a lack of movement and we were poor everywhere. We lost deservedly and this must not be repeated against Celtic or else we are going out.”
