Joe Hart just gets Celtic, he’s going to be a big miss in so many ways

That brilliant clip that was widely shared on social media yesterday of Joe Hart singing the addictive and uplifting ‘Don’t Worry, Be Happy’ ditty, that’s now a regular tune at Celtic games, was a joy to watch. How many times have you watched it? Loads? Me too.

Joe was in Croatia where he was a guest at former team mate Josip Juranovic’s wedding. Super Joe with the help of guitarist Jack Mulholland produced an uplifting late night rendition of the song.

Joe shared the clip on his instagram account and it didn’t take long in going viral as it tugged on the heartstrings of the entire Celtic support.

Joe as well as being a talented keeper, just got what our club was all about. He was in sync with the supporters and bought into our values from day one. Some players fabricate their feelings for a football club, but not Joe.

It’s plain for all to see that Joe has genuine feelings for this club and the supporters. He might not have had an interest in us before he signed, but he’s a true Celtic man now.

Not only are we losing a talented keeper, we’re losing a good man. One that was a leader on and off the park. A guy who bought into the Celtic way of life. He’ll be a big miss in more ways than one.

An ordinary everyday Celtic supporters hailing and still residing in Govan in the shadows of the enemy. I’m a season ticket holder. I Witnessed my first Celtic game in 1988 and have attended when I can ever since. Growing up in the 90s I witnessed Celtic at their lowest, and now appreciate the historic success we enjoy today. I enjoy writing about this wonderful football club and hopefully will continue to do so. I’ve always been a keen writer and initially started this a hobby. My ambition is to one day become as good an author as my fellow Celtic Star colleagues.
