Joe Hart reacts to big win at Pittodrie

Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart has posted on social media following the win at Pittodrie. The three points were secured courtesy of a late strike from Callum McGregor on a bitterly cold afternoon in the North East.

Hart praised the away support while including lyrics to the Callum McGregor song from the stands in his post.

Celtic were dominant but struggled to break down the eight man block that Aberdeen installed around their box. The rewards came as the skipper blasted an effort beyond Roos to take the Scottish Champions nine points clear once again.

Aberdeen fans will hope that Jim Goodwin abandons these dreadfully negative tactics – his side had zero shots on target this afternoon – on Tuesday night when theRangers visit Pittodrie in the re-arranged match that was cancelled due to the death of the Queen.

Celtic fans will watch that on Sky Sports before heading alone to Paradise on Wednesday evening to take on Livingston. Then it’s a trip to Dingwall for theRangers on Friday night with Celtic at home to St Johnstone the next afternoon. Then on Wednesday 28 December Motherwell visit Ibrox while Celtic travel to Edinburgh to play Hibs in the final match of 2022.

On 2 January Celtic make the short journey across the city to take on Mick Beale’s latest Rangers team. How the league table looks after that is going to be interesting.
