Some might say that Aaron Ramsey is a decent one for theRangers but time will tell on that one. The Welshman was announced on a loan deal to Ibrox for the rest of the season after Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s men agreed to pay an astronomical £120,000-per-week for his services.
It was revealed that his wage alone is more than eight of the twelve teams in the Scottish Premiership’s weekly wage bill – slightly behind Hearts and Aberdeen’s £140,000-per-week.
He will not play any part in the Glasgow Derby, according to the Dutch boss, although he is expected to feature from thereon.
Yet Celtic star Josip Juranovic is less than impressed, calling the signing ‘nothing special’.
The Croatian, who signed in the summer for a fee of £2.5million, is set to play in his first Glasgow Derby at Paradise since his arrival from Legia Warsaw.
But in a bid to get firmly into theRangers heads, he has mocked the signing of Ramsey as Celtic look to go one point ahead in the title race with a win.
“That’s good for them,” said Juranovic to The Herald.
“We have here really quality players and we need to watch ourselves.
“It’s just Ramsey. It’s nothing special. I think if you have say Cristiano Ronaldo in the team and the team is not going well…it’s not just one player who will change the game, you need to play all eleven.
“In our minds, especially in my mind, I want from first minute to the last minute that I win that game. That’s my attitude.
“I think everybody here thinks like that and because of that we are playing for Celtic.”
