Jota set for Celtic return after Fabrizio Romano update

Celtic look set to seal the sensational return of Jota. The 25-year-old has struggled since leaving Celtic on a £25m deal in the summer of 2023 but he looks set to return to Paradise on a permanent deal.

According to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, a deal has been completed to bring Jota back on the back of Kyogo’s departure to Ligue 1.

Jota is keen on a return to Celtic and the move would fulfil the manager’s wish to get quality into his first team, albeit with the departure of Kyogo.

Kieran Tierney is also expected to sign for Celtic in the coming days, having agreed a pre-contract with the club.

The Celtic Star have regularly updated fans on the transfer happenings of the Superstar from Portugal, much to the Editor’s bemusement, and it appears that this transfer appears to be happening.
