Pete O’Rourke has claimed that Celtic are causing a delay in Daniel Kelly’s transfer to Millwall. The Lions had agreed a pre-contract with the 18-year-old to take him to the EFL Championship in January but it was felt it was in everyone’s best interests for a clean break.
Celtic and Millwall thrashed out a £400k deal but O’Rourke is reporting that despite a medical and contract being completed, Celtic are yet to sign off on the deal.
Millwall left frustrated by Celtic’s delay in signing off paperwork for his move to be finalised meaning he will not be able to make his Lions debut this weekend. Kelly completed his medical and signed contract at Millwall earlier this week. #Millwall #Celtic pic.twitter.com/lkRqCXxncA

Celtic are probably more concerned with their own business rather than signing off on a B Team player’s departure, who they won’t be best pleased with.
Kelly took the strange decision to swap a professional contract with Celtic that would see him in and around Brendan’s first team to try his hand at the Championship side.
Keep him Celtic!
