Celtic goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has shared a post on Instagram teasing his return to action. The Danish goalkeeper has been out of action since picking up an injury during the Nations League defeat to Portugal.
Since then, Celtic have secured the league title and progressed to the Scottish Cup Final with deputy Vil Sinisalo between the sticks. Schmeichel has indicated that he is eager to get back in action before the end of the current campaign.

The experienced ‘keeper has been back training and was even on the pitch warming up Sinisalo before the game at Tannadice. It is expected that he will be back involved before the end of the current campaign but this weekend’s Glasgow Derby will likely come too soon for the Premier League winner.
Schmeichel has been a standout since arriving on a free transfer. The ex-Leicester goalie stepped into the void left by Joe Hart and has been excellent, offering experience and quality in nets. It has been a successful partnership and the player has signed an extension that will keep him at the club until next summer, presumably with a view to playing in the World Cup next summer.
I would hardly describe him as a standout. He has been good, but not a standout.
Viljami Sinisalo, on the other hand, has been excellent in keeping goal and his foot work and deliveries from defence have been excellent and he has been in fine form. He also marshals the defence and is not afraid to direct things at the back with clear instrctions and deliveries. This is our long term goalkeeper and he needs and deserves more games.
