The Celtic striker was giving his backing to the Show Racism The Red Card campaign which is highlighted today by both teams.

The Celtic striker didn’t know that today is his 150th match playing for manager Brendan Rodgers although he couldn’t remember the first. Maybe not too surprising as apparently it was a defeat to Watford through losing a last minute goal.

Hopefully Kelechi and his Celtic teammates have much better luck today in what is a crucial match for Celtic in what is a vital period for the side.

Brendan expects his side to be dominant on the ball and hopes that they will create the chances to win the game. He also told Sky Sports that Daizen Maeda is now a doubt for the Europa League game on Thursday night against Sturm Graz.

“We need to play our game and stay really concentrated,” Brendan said. Kick-off is fast approaching.

Meanwhile here’s Kelechi Iheanacho’s pre-match interview shown on Sky Sports.
