KFC’s brilliant tweet after Celtic player stars in World Cup Quarter-Final

KFC have joined the Josip Juranovic bandwagon as they posted a brilliant tweet after the Celtic full-back impressed at full-back for Croatia. The Croatians struck late in extra time to take the game to penalties against Brazil before beating Neymar & Co from the spot.

Juranovic was excellent as he was singled out by pundits and fans alike fawned over the player, meaning that his value is set to spike with a number of clubs keeping an eye on the player ahead of a January move.

Juranovic has three-and-a-half years on his deal at Celtic. This is a strong position to negotiate from as the club will look to maximise any fee that they receive for the defender.

Juranovic has played every minute at the World Cup and had a number of strong showings in the Champions League for Celtic. It seems inevitable that the player will move on in the next two windows as he looks to take the next step in his career, following the £2m move from the Polish club eighteen months ago.

Celtic have already signed Ally Johnston. The Canadian full-back joins for an undisclosed fee, believed to be £3m, and he is earmarked as Juranovic’s replacement. The 24-year-old will join up with the Scottish Champions in January but there is a chance that Juranovic will likely be subject to more transfer speculation before then.
