“Kieran Tierney will be Celtic player, story confirmed,” Fabrizio Romano

Brendan Rodgers has tonight confirmed that the club have reached a pre-contract agreement with Kieran Tierney and the Celtic manager is hopeful that a deal can now be arranged to bring KT back in this window…

The revelation brings and end to months of speculation which reached fever pitch this January. Rodgers has already snapped up another former Celt in Jota and it will be interesting to see what other business is completed in the next few days.

Celtic bid for Orjasaeter submitted

Sondre Orjasaeter has been the subject of much interest from the Parkhead club and both Fabrizio Romano and Anthony Joseph of Sky Sports confirmed that an initial bid had been made for the Norwegian. It’s seems that the Irishman is keen on securing two wingers this month with Luis Palma looking likely to depart the same club that Kyogo left yesterday.

With James Forrest not getting any younger either, Brendan will be possibly looking at this window with an eye on the future too. As mentioned before, Nicolas Kühn may well be he subject of considerable interest this summertime if his current exploits keep up in a hooped jersey and he improves even further in the second half of the campaign.

Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham were thought to be monitoring him along with Newcastle and a few others.

But tonight it’s all about incomings and the Celtic manager confirmed that Kieran Tierney will return to the club as a free agent this close season, when his Arsenal contract officially expires, in what is another excellent piece of business from the Scottish Premiership Champions.

Sky Sports News have just confirmed the open secret of this transfer window tonight:

About Author

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.
