Killie have won two of their last three meetings against Celtic at Rugby Park but Celtic won in the last meeting, back in May. Brendan’s side won 5-0 to secure the league title in an excellent display.

Celtic Team News

Celtic have no fresh injury concerns from the win over Leipzig, despite Auston Trusty and Cameron Carter-Vickers not making it onto the grass at Lennoxtown.

Kasper Schmeichel will continue in goal. The Dane made a fantastic save at 2-1 before Reo Hatate put the game beyond doubt. In defence, Alistair Johnston will start with the preferred defensive pairing appearing to be Trusty and CCV. Greg Taylor started on Tuesday with Alex Valle replacing him. It remains to be seen who the manager will go with.

In midfield, the preferred trio of Callum McGregor, Arne Engels and Reo Hatate will probably start. Luke McCowan and Paulo Bernardo will look to supplement the midfield when called upon.
