Kyogo named as Star Man after scoring five in a row against the Rangers

As Kyogo heads towards reaching 30 goals for Celtic this season, the Japanese striker, who grabbed two goals in the 3-2 weekend Glasgow Derby win over the petulant Rangers, has been named as the Scottish Premiership’s Star Man of the week and it’s so well deserved.

Kyogo of course scored Celtic’s second goal in the 2-2 draw at Ibrox on 2 January and followed that up by scoring both Celtic goals in the 2-1 League Cup final triumph over theRangers on 26 February before hitting the back of the net twice on Saturday in latest Celtic victory in what is shaping up to be an historic goal.

So between Daizen Maeda opening the scoring on 2 January at Ibrox and Jota scoring what turned out to be the winner for Celtic on Saturday at Celtic Park, Kyogo scored five consecutive Celtic goals against a Rangers side. Has that ever been done before?
