Celtic can still win the league this season but only if Nancy is relieved of his duties this week…

Most supporters have written off our title chances, and it’s not hard to agree given the current state of affairs on and off the park.
For me however, I still firmly believe that we can retain our title and clinch five in a row, but only if Wilfried Nancy is relieved of his duties, and the sooner the better.
Hearts are now firmly in the driving seat, being six points clear, but tougher challenges lie ahead when it comes time for the business end of the season. The Jambos may boast a talented team, but they lack the experience of winning titles, something that could harm their chances of glory. There are plenty of tough challenges ahead for them this season and the top three plus Motherwell and Hibs will all take points off each other.

TheRangers chances have also been rejuvenated after winning at Celtic Park, but despite beating the champions and the wild celebrations and bravado that followed, they also have a lot of work to do, and are far from what you would describe as a good side. And much like the Jambos, they lack the required experience in winning titles.
Celtic despite our current woes have the required experience and ability to get over the line, but only if they bin the naive Frenchman and replace him with a half decent coach. We saw the impact Martin O’Neill had when he steadied the ship when placed in interim charge after the departure of Brendan Rodgers, who warned the Celtic Board about the need to strengthen and was chased out the door for doing so.

Martin O’Neill’s success wasn’t exactly down to a tactical masterclass. Play to your strengths, ie utilise players in the right positions, give them confidence and reap the rewards. Remain solid as possible defensively and look to score goals by putting teams under pressure in the attacking areas. It’s that simple. Nancy is too focused on the latter while totally sacrificing the former and that’s why we will never win the league – or anything else – with him in charge.

With Nancy in charge it’s anything but clear cut, and with Luke McCowan’s comments regarding the manager, it’s obvious that the players are just as bemused with his approach to the game as the supporters.
Do our custodians want to win the league and the prestige and financial gains on offer ie the Champions League group stages? Well if they do, it’s easy, get shot of Nancy and bring in someone half decent and we can win this league. If Nancy stays we can forget all about winning anything.
Just an Ordinary Bhoy

Don’t be surprised to see McCowan bulleted out the door for DARING TO MAKE COMMENTS
Even with BR or MON this season was a dogfight. And Wilf has about as much chance in this fight to the May league title as I do with Tyson Fury.
