Lewis Morgan completes Inter Miami move

Lewis Morgan has finally joined David Beckham’s new MLS franchise, Inter Miami. The move was expected for quite some time with a fee being agreed weeks ago. But for some reason, it had stalled till now but was made official today on the MLS side’s website. Celtic will be receiving a six-figure transfer fee for the winger although it has not been revealed exactly how much.

Morgan had joined Celtic from St Mirren back in 2018 but never managed to establish himself in the first-team. After a failed loan spell at Sunderland, he was given a chance by Neil Lennon to make his mark at Parkhead this season but never managed to reach the potential that he had shown in his St Mirren days.

His transfer though leaves short of options on the wings with a number of their wingers suffering from injuries. Thus, do not be surprised if the Hoops make a late swoop for a wide-man with the transfer window closing down soon.
