To think we all wanted Eddie Howe, eh?
Just weeks after talks for the Englishman broke down, Celtic appointed the relatively unknown Ange Postecoglou – sparking the narrative that Celtic were to continue slipping away from the title race with theRangers.
And, after losing to FC Midtjylland in his first competitive Champions League leg, fans weren’t best pleased.
Fast forward exactly a month; it couldn’t be a much more different viewpoint on the big Aussie – there isn’t a Celtic fan who doesn’t like him.
And, in his interview with Callum McGregor posted this morning, he brought his A-game, laughing about Scottish cuisine, the weather and Scott Brown’s mental dress sense – making Celtic fans even more complimentary of their new leader.
What is about Ange, that interview sums him up. He has settled in so easily and he looks like he is loving the role as Celtic Manager. Hail Hail https://t.co/HXIb3OF8fq

Brilliant even if the big man has not tried the black pudding yet https://t.co/EyGkWbMedE

Big Ange genuinely comes across as a smart and funny guy. In the end what a signing, hope he does well for us.

This is brilliant. Every time I listen to Ange, I like him even more.
When he tells Callum there’s only one answer, it’s brilliant, he’s laughing but also saying “I’m the boss” https://t.co/J2woVPcxSk

Although his attacking exploits are to be wowed at, his refusal to try black pudding has given some fans calling for his head already…
Disnae like black pudding???? Sack him now, get him out of our club. Say what you want about Neil Lennon but he’d never have said anything as disgraceful as that https://t.co/McVaSy1HYm
