“Lots to talk about with Gordon Strachan and Alan Stubbs,” Celtic TV’s Connie McLaughlin

Celtic TV Presenter Connie McLaughlin will be talking to Gordon Strachan and Alan Stubbs on the Pass to Paradise broadcast from Celtic Park this afternoon as the 9IAR Champions take on Derek Mcinnes’ Aberdeen side for the second time in a few weeks at Paradise.

Last time a brilliant strike from David Turnbull from the edge of the box was enough to separate the sides and give Celtic the three points although Aberdeen have convinced themselves that they were hard done by, being denied a penalty kick when the ball seemed to strike Stephen Welsh in the arm. It would have been soft and given some of the recent penalties Aberdeen have had this season and last against Celtic up at Pittodrie maybe we were due a break with one?

Former Celtic manager Gordon Strachan was excellent in the last Celtic TV broadcast alongside Tosh McKinlay. This time though he’s joined by Alan Stubbs who until tomorrow at least remains the last non-Celtic manager to win a major trophy in Scottish football when his Hibs side fought back from 2-1 down in the closing stages to win the 2016 Scottish Cup Final against theRangers by 3-2. The Ibrox fans rioted afterwards, a feature of crowd trouble at Hampden is that a club playing out of Ibrox has lost a match. Think about it.

The Celtic TV broadcast begins at 2.30pm.
