Movement On The Celtic Exit Conveyor Belt As Tunisian Champions Make Vakoun Bayo Enquiry

There are expected to be big changes at all levels of Celtic Football Club next season, but there has already been some activity among the playing squad as Scott Brown announced that he will depart to Aberdeen this summer, whilst Cameron Harper and Patryk Klimala have joined New York Red Bulls.

Vakoun Bayo looks set to be the next departee on the list as the Ivorian striker is being pursued by Tunisian champions Esperance. Bayo has spent this season on loan at Ligue 2 club Toulouse, where he has scored just six goals in 26 games. The French side are unlikely to make that deal permanent, but Esperance have enquired about Bayo’s availability in the summer, according to reports by the Daily Record.

The player has experience in Tunisia already, having moved from the Ivory Coast to Etoile du Sahel when he was a youngster. His performances in the country earned him a cross continent move from Africa to Europe, but he could now retrace his steps with Celtic looking to off-load unwanted members of the squad to make way for the rebuild under a new manager.
