“Needs the Benny Hill music” – Someone clearly bought Copenhagen the big book of ‘how to defend like Celtic in Europe’

Someone clearly bought Copenhagen the “big book of ‘how to defend like Celtic in Europe'” @Moravcik67 observed in response to this tweet which shows a rather remarkable goal conceded by our old adversaries Copenhagen who last night were one of the potential top seeds for the Group Stages who were eliminated thus allowing Celtic to go into today’s draw as a top seeded side.

This goal is a hugely satisfying watch and also has the added comical value. Bet you watch it more than once!

“This Rijeka goal away to Copenhagen might be the funniest goal in years,” @seidodge stated.

“Needs the Benny Hill music,” Craig Patrick said.

“Starts with a terrible touch. Then a handball. Then two defenders back off scared to tackle . Then they tackle one another instead.. Then an.own goal off the crossbar and the culprit pretends he is injured… You know you just might be right… that’s hard to beat,” added Chris Armstrong.

Bobby Lee recalled another hilarious own goal this time involving two French sides that Celtic are well used to facing.

That’s a cracker but reckon there’s one clear winner and it has to be Copenhagen!
