‘Next season we want to win everything, it is non-negotiable’, Christopher Jullien

Christopher Jullien has outlined his intention to bring success back to Celtic next season, after an underwhelming season for the Quadruple Treble winners. The 10IAR bid failed as well as an early exit from the League Cup to Ross County. However, Jullien says that a repeat of this season isn’t on the cards as he targets more Treble success next season.

French Celts (Celtic_FR) on Twitter translated the defender’s interview and noted that the defender is hoping to be fit early into the season but that he is targeting success from the outset.

Celtic have missed Jullien at the back this season, with a makeshift defensive unit shipping a number of goals. He will be hoping that he can get himself back to full fitness so that he can prove to the new management team that he is a reliable option at the back moving forward.

The defender returned to France to continue his rehabilitation from a knee injury suffered at the end of 2020. In the 3-0 win over Dundee United, the French defender rushed towards the goal and slid in to make a goal saving clearance but was left grounded when his knee collided with the base of the post. The horror smash saw the central defender stretchered off.
