Norwich City have identified Tom Cannon as a potential new signing as they look for an Adam Idah alternative. The Irish International has been heavily linked with a permanent switch to Celtic with talks ongoing but thus far there has been no breakthrough.
According to The Sun’s Alan Nixon, Norwich have identified Cannon as a loan option should Idah depart.

Idah was booed by sections of the home support in Norwich’s preseason friendly defeat to FC St Pauli. This prompted the player to go straight up the tunnel after full time. It appears that the player is desperate for the transfer to Celtic to go through and move on from this awkward situation at Carrow Road.
Celtic had a £4m bid rebuffed and it is believed that there hasn’t been a second offer. The clubs are in discussions but there is yet to be a breakthrough that would bring about a Paradise return for the player.
Hopefully the fact that Norwich are exploring other options suggests that the title is in an end game situation. It is not out with the realms of possibility that this is holding up the deal. Norwich will not want to be left short themselves, which can ultimately drag out negotiations.
So Norwich rate him so highly that they are looking for a loan deal for a striker?
Norwich isn’t doing what any club does players know there worth to double that and stop a player moving forward other players will take note and if the want to join a club that holds them moving on by doubling his transfer player would have second thoughts sitting on the bench while his club gamble with his future us it greed our just stubbornness they threw out a number and won’t change it case it looks bad
Err, the fact we just sold Sara should allay that fear pretty quickly. If teams are prepared to offer a fair price we would sell our bloody grandmother. We are notoriously a selling club. The difference is that Galatasaray were willing to pay and Celtic are looking to steal. If you value the guy then put up the cash. It is a case of put up or shut up I am afraid. I have no doubt we will sell him but we are not going to give him away.
