“Nothing concrete”, Sky Sports reporter’s Nicolas Kühn update

Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph has provided an update in RB Leipzig’s reported pursuit of Nicolas Kühn. The journalist shared content from colleague Philipp Hinze from Sky Germany, which confirmed that the interest from Leipzig was not as far along as some have made out.

Kühn has been linked with a return to Leipzig, where he came through their youth system. However, Joseph stated that there was not any concrete interest in the German attacker at this stage.

The Scottish Champions could be willing to discuss a deal for the player if they are to receive offers that match their valuation, especially if the attacker is eager to make a switch after just one and a half years in Glasgow.

Since signing from Rapid Vienna in January 2024, Kühn has scored 24 goals and assisted 18 times in 69 appearances for the club, helping Celtic to win four trophies. Kühn was a standout in the Champions League, including goals against RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich.
