On This Day: Albian Ajeti scores a brace as Celtic beat Ross County

On This Day in 2021, Ange Postecoglou’s side picked up three points on the way to the 2021/22 Scottish Premiership title with a win over Ross County.

Celtic were kept at bay by a stubborn County defence but it was a first Celtic goal from Cameron Carter-Vickers after the hour mark that sent the Hoops on their way. The USA Internationalist stepped out of the backline before firing a shot that looped high into the sky before dropping into the net.

Albian Ajeti was on the scoresheet (twice) as he converted a Liel Abada cross and then capitalised on a ricochet from a James McCarthy chance to double his tally.
