On This Day: Behind the scenes as Celtic prepared for Treble Treble Final

On This Day in 2019, Celtic completed the Treble Treble with a 2-1 win over Hearts at Hampden. Interim boss Neil Lennon led his side out at the National Stadium as The Celts went on to make history coming from behind on an emotional day in Glasgow’s South Side.

Lilze on Twitter is an excellent source of Celtic games and goals on this day and some unseen footage of before the Scottish Cup final has emerged on the anniversary of the match.

Scott Brown, Neil Lennon and John Kennedy discuss the preparations of the Scottish Champions as they sought to make it three trebles in a row against Craig Levein’s Hearts.

The clip details how the Celtic management and players prepared for the final with tactical meetings, video analysis and the chance to honour two of Celtic’s finest sons – Billy McNeill and Stevie Chalmers.
