On This Day: Celtic’s Invincibles Win At Ibrox

On this day in 2016, Celtic’s soon to be Invincibles, made the short journey to Ibrox. Kenny Miller gave the home side the lead, but Moussa Dembele thundered Celtic level. The French striker then hit the crossbar with a great effort on the stretch, but all rectified itself when Scott Sinclair converted Armstrong’s cross, which had followed tidy play by Paddy Roberts.

The victory kept Celtic well clear at the top and heaped misery on their City rivals. It’ll be the aim of Neil Lennon’s men this weekend, but in very different circumstances:
