Paddy tells ten year olds, he would love to be here for ten in a row!

PADDY ROBERTS reveals that Celtic Park easily beats the Etihad for atmosphere and that he’d love to stick around for 10 in a row, as he is grilled by a group of ten year old Hoops fans…brilliant!

Yesterday Celtic’s Number 7 Paddy Roberts got grilled by a bunch of 10 year olds who seemed to do better than the Scottish press hacks in unearthing a story or two. The weans were taking part in a Q&A session hosted by club sponsor, Laurie Ross Insurance. Here’s a flavour of what happened.

Will you be here for 10 in a row?

“I would love to be here, but I can’t really say much on that. Something like that is massive and especially for Celtic to do it would be huge. And I’m sure they’ll do it and I’ll be part of it, if I’m here or not.”

Which ground had the better atmosphere, Celtic Park or the Etihad stadium?

“That’s not really a question. It’s easy, Celtic. They are the best fans I will probably ever play in front of. Celtic by a mile, especially Champions League nights are special. Something I will take with me wherever I go.”

Favourite goal scored for Celtic?

“I would love to say Rangers, but I’ve not scored against them yet, I’ve still got two games left. I think the goal against Hearts (in the 5-0 victory that sealed last season’s title. That sticks in my memory quite well.”
