Brendan Rodgers revealed post-match that Paulo Bernardo should be given the all clear to feature in Wednesday night’s mouth-watering Champions League knockout playoff round clash with Bayern Munich…

Brendan Rodgers confirmed that after initial talks with Celtic physio Tim Williamson, Bernardo’s substitution was more of a precaution rather than a serious injury for the 23 year-old.
Failing to continue in last night’s 5-0 victory over Raith Rovers in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup following a heavy challenge with Rovers defender Jordan Docherty in the first-half, Bernardo had to be replaced with Reo Hatate who made his way onto the field around the 37 minute mark.
Bernardo attempted to continue
Despite attempting to continue playing after the challenge, the Portuguese u21 skipper left the pitch in severe discomfort soon after much to the concern of the Celtic support.

However, the Hoops boss made it abundantly clear in his post-match assessment of the situation that Bernardo should be available for Celtic’s hotly anticipated clash with Bayern Munich next week.
‘He just rolled, rocked his ankle’
Speaking to Premier Sports, Rodgers said: “He probably came off a wee bit more as a precaution. He just rolled, rocked his ankle a wee bit. He should be okay [for Wednesday night].”
