Everyone knew that the time would come to say goodbye to Scott Brown, but his agreement with Aberdeen seemed to happen so quickly so the news is still starting to sink in.

There were rumours about him moving to take up a coaching role but it was probably expected that a decision wouldn’t be reached until the summer.
