Celtic youngster Adam Montgomery has been spotted at Lennoxtown after returning from his loan at St Johnstone. The 20-year-old enjoyed 17 appearances for Callum Davidson’s Saints in the first half of the season, playing predominantly at left midfield.

The loan was only a short term deal but it appeared to be successful with the player gaining regular first team football. The versatile youngster is back training with Ange Postecoglou’s team in the meantime; however, The Saints are keen on extending the deal as discussions are ongoing.

Celtic B regulars Ben Summers, Rocco Vata, Bosun Lawal and Tobi Oluwayemi were all seen training with the first team as Ange prepares his side for this weekend’s game against Killie.
