Photo: Edouard named in TOTW as sparkling form continues

Odsonne Edouard has been named in the SPFL Team of the Week after netting a brace as Celtic came from behind to win at St Johnstone. Edouard struck twice in two minutes to cancel out Rooney’s opener for the Celts and to give Lennon’s Celts all three points.

Now, the Frenchman has been rewarded with a place in the League’s Team of the Week as he takes his goal tally in the league to 15 – making him the top scorer.

Edouard was in scintillating form before COVID-19 forced the league season to be curtailed last year but he is beginning to find some form. This will aid Celtic cut the gap with Rangers at the top of the league as well as increase French Eddy’s eventual fee.
