Celtic booked their place in the Scottish Cup Final with a nervous penalties win over Aberdeen at Hampden. With the teams being unable to be separated by neither normal time nor extra time, the teams had to go to the penalty spot to decide who would be competing in the May 25th showpiece final.

After Joe Hart saved Aberdeen’s sixth penalty, which confirmed Brendan Rodgers’ passage to the Final, there was an embarrassing moment from the SFA.

In a message across the screens at Hampden, Celtic were congratulated for making as being ‘Scotthish Cup Finalists’.

Scottish Football is unrivalled for entertainment and yesterday proved that. However, they could’ve done with a quick check.

Rodgers and his team will find out today whether they will face Rangers or Hearts in the Final.
