Photo: ‘Good to be back’, Celtic winger delighted with return from injury

Mikey Johnston has reacted to his long awaited Celtic return with a social media post, saying that it’s ‘good to be back’. The winger suffered a ligament damage back in January in a game against St Johnstone but tried to run it off, which only aggravated the injury.

Johnston replaced Moi Elyounoussi towards the end of Sunday’s win over Killie and will be hoping that the manager includes him in his thoughts for Sunday’s Scottish Cup Final versus Hearts.

Celtic have missed the tricky winger in their team with James Forrest out injured so Johnston’s return will hopefully be a massive boost to the whole team.
