Liam Shaw has broken his silence over his pre-contract move to Celtic. The 19-year-old took to social media after Sheffield Wednesday made a statement earlier today, stating they would investigate the news breaking via Neil Lennon last month.
Thank you to @swfc especially the fans. Until the last kick of the season I will give my all. SWFC will always be special for me. On July 1, I will join at @CelticFC – a move which is impossible for me to turn down. pic.twitter.com/CfFq9jwefe

Shaw referred to the deal with Celtic as ‘impossible to turn down’ and it will be interesting to see the promising youngster join the club in the summer.
Shaw can play central midfield as well as centre back and will arrive for a fee believed to be in the region of £300k for his development. Sheffield Wednesday were desperate to sign him on a new deal but the attraction to Celtic was clearly too much for the youngster.
COME ON THE HOOPS.
