Luca Connell has been included in the SPFL’s Team of the Week after an impressive display on his debut Queen’s Park. The player completed a loan move to the League Two side and will be hoping to use the short-term loan to propel him into the thoughts of the new management team coming in.

Connell earned MOTM in the 3-0 victory over Stranraer. Connell, 19, joined on a loan from Celtic until the end of the season and made an instant impact on his first start at Hampden.
Connell’s weighted free-kick was met by Lee Kilday to give Ray McKinnon’s side the lead. Connell has been tipped for a Celtic breakthrough since joining from Bolton Wanderers in 2019.
