Photo Of The Day: Celtic Park Under Construction

Today’s photo of the day revisits a very different type of rebuild as Paradise was in the midst of modernisation. To quote a famous song, the image shows “a phoenix rising, a house steel and 60,000 Celtic dreams,” about to be made.

It’s great to cast a nostalgic eye back to the mid-90s and look at how far we have come as a club. From near extinction to a world class stadium, terrific training facilities and a couple of decades of excellent domestic success.

Let’s hope the next rebuild is as successful.
