Today’s photo of the day rewinds a century to the Celtic squad picture ahead of the 1922/23 season. The image features a number of club legends and Scottish football icons such as Alec McNair, Patsy Gallacher, Willie McStay, Charlie Shaw, Andy McAtee, Adam McLean, Willie Cringan and Joe Cassidy.
That star studded Celtic team finished third in Scottish Division One and went on to lift the Scottish Cup with a 1-0 win over Hibernian in March 1923 (Cassidy scored the goal).
