Photo Of The Day: Celtic – The Team Of The Irish Diaspora

The return of the photo of the day feature, this morning, brings you an image of Celtic fans celebrating the club’s SPFL title triumph in May. A number of Irish tricolours can be seen, reflecting Celtic’s roots and the ancestral history of a core section of our support – the Irish diaspora.

Of course it goes without saying that the club is not exclusive and is also welcome to people from other backgrounds and identities. Indeed, since the second season of the Bhoys’ existence, a team of multiple religions and nationalities has been fielded.
