There were many highs on and off the pitch last season, with a few testing moments too. One such moment, on a day which ended up as a high point, was the bizarre 3.30pm kick off on a Tuesday afternoon when Celtic faced Ferencvaros in the Europa League. It is the display from prior to this game, which is the focus of our photo of the day.

Conundrum aside, 50,000 Celtic fans were treated to a fine afternoon of football as Celtic won the game 2-0, and only a missed penalty prevented a complete rout. Kyogo’s opener was a goal of the season contender, the Japanese striker coolly finishing after receiving a sublime pass from Jota. David Turnbull then made sure of the group stage points.
