Photo Of The Day: Forrest Secures The Title

Today’s photo of the day is one with a connection to this date. It rewinds four years to 31 March 2019, when James Forrest’s winning goal in the Glasgow Derby put to bed Steven Gerrard’s title challenge.

Celtic went on to win the league title and domestic treble that season. Gerrard and his team would watch Celtic do the same the following season too, before finally winning a trophy during the covid season, in which St Johnstone lifted the most amount of silverware in Scotland.
