Photo Of The Day: Henrik Larsson’s Iconic Celebration

Today’s photo of the day revisits an iconic celebration that was recreated across school playgrounds by numerous children born in the 1990s.

Henrik Larsson’s arms open, tongue out, celebration is as famous as his ability to score goals in the first place. It became the feature of masks sold on the Gallowgate and was pictured on numerous pieces of merchandise – both official and fan made.

Despite the above, our photo of the day is that of a dreadlocked Larsson doing what he did best.

We have seen other iconic celebrations over the years. The Broony was born in 2011 for example, but Henrik’s would have to be up with the most famous.
