Photo Of The Day: Japanese Celtic Supporters At Paradise

Today’s photo of the day celebrates Celtic’s ongoing link with Japan. From Shunsuke Nakamura to Kyogo Furuhashi, the Bhoys have had some wonderful Japanese talents in their ranks. Meanwhile, our chosen image shows members of the Tokyo Celtic Supporters Club taking their seats in Paradise.

Kyogo has began his Celtic career in sensational style with five goals from as many appearances. He has an infectious enthusiasm for the game and has been involved in so much of the Hoops’ great play of late. The former Vissel Kobe star was born in Nara, just a 2.5 hour bullet train ride away from Tokyo, so he already has some sort of Celtic support from back home. However, he is now universally loved in Paradise and will continue to be made welcome with a number of Japanese flags being displayed at matches already!
