Today’s photo of the day shows Martin O’Neill saluting the crowd in typical fashion. The Irishman has done a sterling job as Celtic interim boss across two stints so far, and always looks to the support at full time. Tonight was no different as the iconic Celtic man went to the couple of thousand fans in Bologna was raised an arm aloft, where he was duly serenaded, following another commendable result.

This time the Hoops drew 2-2, a scoreline that is made all the more impressive when one considers that they played the majority of the match with ten men. Martin is showing that he has still very much got it and is capable of restoring Celtic’s reputation in Europe, as well as domestically. Indeed, this result comes after another fine European away performance under O’Neill’s stewardship, in Feyenoord.
