Video: First half highlights as ten men Celtic lead Bologna

Celtic went into the break leading 2-0 against Bologna after a brilliant first half. Goals from Reo Hatate and Auston Trusty gave Celtic the lead but they’re reduced to two men after Hatate was shown red.

Daizen Maeda’s press forced a mistake from the goalkeeper, who passed it straight to th striker. Daizen slid the ball to his countryman who made no mistake.

Hatate was then shown red after picking up a second yellow for an off the ball incident.

Auston Trusty doubled Celtic’s lead after benefitting from a flick on to finish and send the Celtic support into wild celebrations. The Bologna players tried to play on but the referee’s watch confirmed that the ball had crossed the line.
