Photo: Rod Stewart donates signed shirt by Lisbon Lions to NHS auction

LEGENDARY Rock’n’Roll star Rod Stewart has donated a number of items for auction to raise funds for the NHS.

The veteran singer has included a Cartier watch and signed albums amongst the items from his own collection going under the hammer but Stewart, who has never hidden his love for Celtic, has included a signed Celtic shirt. This shirt with ‘Stewart 67′ on the back comes from the 50th anniversary of the Lisbon Lions’ triumph in the European Cup and is signed by the remaining Lions, as well as Stewart.

It is a classy gesture by Stewart and the auction launches tomorrow at 6.30am until midnight on Friday.
