Predicted XI vs Ross County; five changes for Celtic

Celtic face Ross County this afternoon up in Dingwall as the Scottish Champions hit the road again. As games come thick and fast with today’s game closely followed by Tuesday in Madrid, expect Brendan Rodgers to shuffle his pack some more.

The manager has said that he trusts his squad and we would anticipate that he will make five changes for the game in the Highlands. Expect Cameron Carter-Vickers, Anthony Ralston, Odin Thiago Holm, Yang and Daizen Maeda to come in from the start.

In goals, expect Joe Hart to continue.

In defence, Liam Scales to partner the returning Carter-Vickers. The manager may look to bring Tony Ralston in given the volume of games at present with Greg Taylor on the left.

In midfield, expect Holm to start in beside Matt O’Riley and Callum McGregor with Tomoki Iwata and Paolo Bernardo looking to show their credentials ahead of the trip to Madrid.

In attack, Kyogo will likely start through the middle with Daizen Maeda and Yang coming into the team. James Forrest didn’t impress a great deal when handed a start.

Predicted XI: Hart; Ralston, Carter-Vickers, Scales, Taylor; McGregor, O’Riley, Holm; Yang, Kyogo, Maeda.

It will be interesting to see who the manager goes with and how much time guys like O’Riley, CCV get ahead of the crucial UCL game midweek.
