Premier Sports Cup Final Ticket Boost for Celtic Supporters

The SPFL has announced ticketing details for next month’s Premier Sports Cup Final at Hampden Park between St Mirren and Celtic…

St Mirren and Celtic reached the final after victories against Motherwell and theRangers in last weekend’s semi-finals. And there’s a major boost in this afternoon’s update from the SPFL because they have allocated Celtic the full North Stand at Hampden with the St Mirren fans being located in the traditional ‘Rangers end’ and in the their end of the South stand.

That means thousands of extra Celtic supporters on the HCTS should (no laughing at the back) now manage to get a ticket in the secretive ballot from the Celtic ticket office, although nothing is certain when it comes to expecting fairness from them.

The Premier Sports Cup Final will be played at Hampden Park on Sunday 14 December and the game will kick-off at 3pm and will be broadcast exclusively live on Premier Sports. And there will be no rows between the clubs as everything has been discussed and agreed in discussions that have taken place since Celtic knocked out theRangers on Sunday afternoon.

The SPFL states: Ticket allocations and prices for the match at the National Stadium have been agreed by both clubs following discussions with the finalists, SPFL and relevant authorities.

Ticket prices for the majority of supporters have been frozen at last season’s rates. Adult tickets in the East and West Stands are available at £40, with concessions £25. Adult tickets in the North and South Stands will be available at £46, with concession tickets priced at £28.

Read all the information on the official SPFL website. And finally a wee word for the Celtic Ticket office, see all those on the HCTS who were ‘unsuccessful’ in the ballot at the weekend. Given them all a ticket before you start ‘balloting’ if balloting is even necessary. Enough is enough.
